Digital Identity encompasses all processes, mechanisms, technologies that serve an individual or organization to identify themselves and to recognize or discover the identity of others in digital media and media.
In this section we will discuss the identification mechanisms derived from Law 11/2007 of June 22 on Citizens' Electronic Access to Public Services.
According to the Law 11/2007, citizens may use the following systems to identify with the Administration:
The Marketing Authorisation Holder and Manufacturer Law 11/2007 sets out the mechanisms that can be used by public administrations to identify electronically and authenticate the electronic documents it produces.

The identification and authentication of the Administration’s automated performance can be carried out by means of an electronic seal which must also be based on an electronic certificate.
The Safe Verification Code (CSV) can also be used to authenticate the Administration's automated performance. The CSV is a code printed on a printed document that allows the authenticity and integrity of that paper document to be verified by comparing it with the original electronic document at the electronic headquarters correspondiente.El CSV allows the generation on paper. “authentic copies” electronic documents.
